Baton Rouge continues to surprise us with how many dog friendly spots are in town and it continues to grow each year! Last year, Smalls Sliders entered the scene with delicious food, a cool vibe, and a super welcoming and dog friendly atmosphere. We are always looking for fun places to take Teddy where he is welcome and Smalls definitely checks that off the list. The restaurant itself is really neat, built in old shipping containers. They have outdoor tables for those that want to sit and enjoy their meal and drive through if you’re just looking for a quick trip. At night, they have nice patio lights to set the vibe. The staff is always excited to see Teddy when we slides thru! I always feel welcome bringing Teddy to Smalls.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Every single person we’ve encountered at Smalls is always super friendly and willing to help answer any questions you have about the menu or even make suggestions. From the staff working behind the counter, to the managers, and the owners, you always feel welcome to eat at the Smalls Table. Even the patrons are friendly! One night, there was a retired couple eating their with their small dog that looked just like Teddy and of course, we had to spend time waiting on our meals chatting about our two pups!
The food is delicious!
Everything at Smalls is fresh and delicious! The sliders are tasty, the buns are always soft and buttery. I love the new waffle fries and the queso! My husband is a big fan of the milkshakes and icees. Teddy of course, loves to sample small bites of the sliders! Every thing on the menu has thought behind it and you can’t go wrong with anything!
We usually order a number 3 with a grilled cheese and queso with a Coke!
The secret menu offers options for everyone!
So if sliders aren’t your thing, ask for a grilled cheese and you won’t be disappointed. I order one every time we go and always look forward to it. There may or may not be a secret sauce as well 🙂 Insider tip: order the grilled cheese and a thing of queso. Double the cheese and it tastes delicious!
