To say that 2020 has been bizarre year would be an understatement. When I was younger, I pictured 2020 having flying cars and businesses like they did in the Jetsons. Instead, we’re dealing with a global pandemic and so much more.
Who would have predicted that masks would be the biggest accessory this year? Where we live in Louisiana, there’s a mask mandate, so masks are required to enter most businesses and restaurants. You guys know that Teddy and I love to color coordinate and match when possible, so you know we had to find a few matching mask and bandana sets. Here’s what we found.
Pawpawrazzi Ready is one of our absolute favorite shops for bandanas and accessories! We’ve been shopping there for Teddy’s wardrobe for years and have even ordered a few custom pieces from the owner, Monique. In addition to her usual product offerings, the shop now offers matching sets of bandanas and masks. The quality of these is wonderful! They’re nice and thick but still breathable and there is also a spot to include a filer. We opted for the elastic option for the mask and an over the collar style bandana, but you can request ones that tie .

We recently discovered The Pet Scout Shop through Instagram and we are so glad we did! Not only do they have adorable accessories and super fun prints for bandana and bow ties, they now have fun matching mask sets! The mask is two patterns, so you are really getting two masks in one and are very comfortable. The fabric is not too thick and not super thin, it is perfect! The bandana has a velcro closure, so it is easy to put on and off, and is also two patterns. The Pet Scout Shop also offers fun toys for your pet.
The Pet Scout Shop is owned and operated by the duo Marifer & Mango. Marifer works full time while also hand making bandanas! She shows the behind the scenes of running her own business and her mom even steps in to make supplies for the shop!

Check with your local makers! There are so many local businesses, artists, and neighbors who are selling or hand making masks right now! My mom found this zebra print one through word of mouth at work. A coworker’s relative was making and selling them as a way to help others stay protected during these times. If you are on your neighborhood’s next door or Facebook page, check with your neighbors. I saw several ladies in our area who are retired and love sewing, so they decided to make and sell masks! Of course, Teddy and I coordinated our color scheme with this fun top from Zara, my zebra mask, and his zebra bandana by Mobties!
